The RDASA Management Committee are currently pursing a number of vital projects.  Whilst some are ongoing we are always seeking feedback from members to identify issues for rural doctors that RDASA can address on their behalf.

Current Activities:

• New Industrial Contract 2011-2014 and SAMSOF Review
• Improvement to communication with Metropolitan Hospitals, especially in relation to transfer and discharges.
• Maintanance of obstetric services in rural hospitals
• Building of communcation and contact with Medical Students and Registrars to promote rural medicine
• Lobbying for increased infrastructure supports to assist the increasing medical student and intern training places in rural SA
• Promoting the rural generalist pathway to assist future rural doctors in their career development
