RDASA members are active on many vital Committees.  Most recently the following RDASA members have been appointed to the CHSA 10 year health service planning taskgroups:

• Inner Country - Dr Stephen Byrne and Dr Michael Taylor'
• Whyalla, Port Lincoln, Port Augusta, Eyre, FFN - Dr Scott Lewis and
  Dr Nigel Stewart
• Barossa, Kapunda, Eudunda, Yorke, Lower and Mid North - Dr Phillip Gribble
• South East - Dr Brian Norcock
• Riverland, Mallee, Coorong - Dr Mike Kerrigan & Dr Peter Hamilton

The taskgroups have identified the new and enhanced service priorities on the basis of directions identified in the 10 year local health service plans developed across 33 services in country SA. To ensure that planning in country SA is well integrated with statewide plans, the taskgroups were asked to seek feedback from statewide agencies and networks. A range of strategies have been undertaken by the taskgroups to seek this input in their planning, including seeking CHSALHN directorates that contribute to statewide networks to participate in consultative sessions.

A draft implementation plan has been developed by each of the taskgroups and is available for feedback.
