RDASA have identified key areas of interest for members including the following Special Interest Groups:

• Obstetrics
• Anaesthetics
• Surgery
• Mental Health
• Female Doctors
• International Medical Graduates

Those members who nominate to become part of these groups maintain communication and information exchange via email.  This has proven effective in providing information to interested rural doctors and also as a means of obtaining feedback on issues relating to the interest area.
