Conference 2012 - save the date!
Friday 16 & Saturday 17 November
The 2011 RDWA Conference brought together rural GPs, registrars, students, practice managers, and staff from Divisions and Networks to hear about the great work in rural health, education, clinical practice and the business of general practice.
Dr Ken Milne, the key note speaker from Canada, was inspirational with his instruction on how rural practice can be the “centres of excellence” and that all rural GPs can be actively involved in evidence based research. Dr Milne is happy to be contacted via his email address: Monycon@hurontel.on.ca
RDWA supported this with a special announcement that small grants will be made available with other supports to encourage rural GPs in South Australia to initiate their own research projects.
The RDASA AGM was well attended and I personally thank all our members who took the time to attend, participate and vote. The annual report and minutes from the meeting can be sourced here.
