The Rural Doctors Association of South Australia was established in 1991 to provide medico-political and industrial assistance for South Australian rural doctors.
RDASA is a member of the Rural Doctors Association of Australia which is the National body representing interests of rural Medical Practitioners all over Australia.
The RDAA’s vision is for excellence in medical care for rural, regional and remote communities.
RDASA acts as an advocate to improve the health of rural communities by ensuring that there is a workforce of highly skilled and motivated rural medical practitioners who have received appropriate training and the necessary incentives, remuneration and support to work in rural communities to achieve the best health outcomes for their communities.
